Miles Teller and JK Simmons star in the music drama.

Whiplash is the story of Andrew (Teller), a talented young jazz drummer mentored by the ruthless Fletcher (Simmons).

Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the film opened the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.

Whiplash will be released in cinemas on January 16, 2015.
