Matt Hansen announces headline gig at The Academy

The gig will mark Hansen's first performance in Ireland since the release of his debut album Orchid.

LA-based singer-songwriter Matt Hansen has just announced a headline show for The Academy, Dublin on Sunday, October 4, following the release of his debut album ‘Orchid’.

Hansen has enjoyed headline tours across three continents, support slots with Train, Teddy Swims, Lauv, and Alec Benjamin, and most recently, his national television debut on The TODAY Show.

Hansen broke out on TikTok around 2021, where he now has over 3 million followers. Since then his original music has amassed more than 1 billion streams worldwide.

Hansen performed a headline show at the Academy in March 2025 a long with various festival and support slots in Ireland.

The show will feature special guests that are yet to be announced.

Tickets for the show are set to go on sale on Friday at 10am from Ticketmaster.
