Ricky Warwick announces new album Fire & Vengeance

Ricky Warwick has announced his new album with the release of its title track, ‘Fire & Vengeance'. The album's full release is set for September 4 via Earache Records.

The record features guest appearances from Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake / The Dead Daisies), Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke) and Darren Holden (The High Kings).

This release marks his first new music since Blood Ties in March 2025.

"'Fire & Vengeance’ is a song about not knowing when you’re beaten,” said Warwick. “Refusing to let the politicians, the pressure, or the noise grind you down. It’s about standing in the wreckage with your fists still clenched and your spirit still intact.”

Warwick is known for fronting the reformed incarnation of Thin Lizzy. Warwick was recruited by Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham and drummer Brian Downey to front a new, touring line-up of the legendary Irish rock band in 2009.

The band decided not to record any music under the Thin Lizzy name as Warwick, Gorham and other members went on to form Black Star Riders.

Warwick is set to embark on the Fire & Vengeance tour this November following the album's release. He will play a series of dates across the UK and Ireland, including Dolans, Limerick on November 5, The Grand Social on November 6 and Limelight 2 in Belfast on November 8.

“Its power to bring people together, to make us dance and connect with one another, even in a world that often feels consumed by fire and vengeance. At its core, this record is about finding hope and unity in the chaos.”
