WATCH: FKA twigs shares new video for ‘meta angel’ off Caprisongs

FKA twigs has shared the brand new visuals for her song ‘meta angel’ taken off her latest mixtape CAPRISONGS.

The Aidan Zamiri-directed video was shot in London and opens with a spaced-out twigs standing in the middle of a park. FKA twigs then scales a building and shoots herself with an arrow in the video for the atmospheric track.

The artist announced news of the single yesterday (January 21) along with a picture of her with a prop arrow in her heart and a clip from the video. “CAPRISONGS ALERT!!! meta angel is out now on my youtube ! the ANTI VIDEOS be coming for u,” she captioned the post.

CAPRISONGS dropped on January 14th and featured collaborations with some of pop’s biggest stars including The Weeknd, Jorja Smith, Shygirl, Daniel Caesar, rema, Pa Salieu, solo and more. Twigs executive-produced the record along with El Guincho.

The new mixtape is the British singer-songwriter’s first full-length project since 2019’s MAGDALENE. She also dropped LP1 in 2021 along with a slew of singles including ‘tears in the club’ with The Weeknd, ‘Measure of a Man’ featuring Central Cee and ‘Don’t Judge Me.’
