FKA twigs has shared a teaser for her upcoming collaboration with The Weeknd, titled 'Tears in the Club'.

The track is set to release this Thursday (December 15th). The 33-year-old announced the new song as well as the date on Twitter alongside an enigmatic quote.

"Are u ready for capri sun takeover??" the English alt-pop singer writes. "Us capri babies be so cute and prolific but don’t cross us cause we never ever forget."

The song was teased in a short Youtube video, featuring the artist putting on makeup while the song plays in the background.

The track is taken from the singer's upcoming collaborative EP. Earlier this year, the singer released the first single from the unnamed project, "Don't Judge Me" with Headie One and Fred Again. Her collaboration with Central Cee, 'Measure of a Man', is set to feature in the upcoming Kingsman prequel,  The King's Man.

The EP will follow up on FKA Twig's 2019 sophomore album MAGDALENE. Hot Press's  Joey Molley praised the album stating that "MAGDALENE has layers, tells stories, and takes us into new dimensions. Ultimately, FKA Twigs delivers a stunning work of art that exceeds expectations on all fronts."

The Weeknd has also been hard at work on the follow-up to his 2020 hit album After Hours. Recently, the Toronto native's single 'Blinding Lights' claimed the top spot on Billboard’s Greatest Songs of All Time Hot 100 Chart.
