WATCH: Dublin company gets Emmy nomination + releases new sci-fil film
It’s a double-whammy of good news from beActive, the Dublin TV, film and digital studio which also has offices in London and Lisbon.
First of all is the Emmy Best Series Award nod for Beat Girl, which was shot last year in The Pale.
It stars newcomer Louise Dylan as Heather, “a classical pianist whose music brings her on a life journey, as she finds herself torn between following her late mother’s footsteps as a world class pianist and the enticing underground world of DJing.”
On top of that, beActive’s new sci-fi romp, Collider, is to screen at the prestigious Geneva Film Festival ahead of its official January release.
It “depicts the last 24 hours of a group of six characters trapped on the CERN campus in the year 2018. They are mankind's last hope to avoid certain destruction of the planet.”
Both trailers look fab!
