Volcano ash forces Russell Watson postponement
The tenor is unable to get to Dublin for his National Concert Hall show.
Iceland’s spewing volcano has claimed its first Irish gig victim with Russell Watson having to postpone his National Concert Hall appearance tonight with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
The English tenor has rescheduled for August 22.
As you’ve doubtless already heard, high-altitude clouds of volcano ash have forced the cancellation of flights all over Europe.
If any other gigs are pulled, we’ll let you know.
