Villagers top the Indie Chart once again
The massive success of Becoming A Jackal continues
After exactly one week at the summit, The Saw Doctors new album The Further Adventures Of... has been knocked off its perch by Conor J O'Brien's crew. Sitting pretty at No. 2 last week, Becoming A Jackal is once again the No. 1 album on the Indie Chart. The Saw Doctors slip down a position, while The XX retain their third place spot. Two further Irish acts make up the rest of the top 5. Two Door Cinema Club's Tourist History rises from No. 7 to No.4, while The Coronas' Tony Was An Ex-Con is at 5.
Elsewhere, there are a number of new entries. Adele's 19 returns to the charts at No. 8, Deerhunter are one place below with their Halcyon Digest album, Tim Robbins & The Rogues Gallery Band are at No. 12, while Duke & The King are at No. 14. Propping up the top 20 are Dimmu Borgir's Abrahadabra and Supermodel Twins' Raincloud Free.
