Villagers come to Limerick

Fresh from playing host to Franz Ferdinand last weekend – we’ll have a ringside report for you in our next issue – Dolan’s Warehouse is the venue on June 16 for a Villagers Body & Soul warm-up show. Conor J. O’Brien & Co. have pretty much finished recording the follow-up to 2010’s Becoming A Jackal debut, which is likely to surface in the autumn.
The chaps have also contributed an as-yet-unspecified cover to The Shortest Night, a Simon Community fundraising album, which gets the official launch treatment on June 21 in the Dublin Button Factory.
