Vertigo

For many it’s the most eagerly awaited song of the year, and ‘Vertigo’ doesn’t disappoint. Like previous lead singles from U2 albums, ‘Vertigo’ is a grower. In the mould of ‘Elevation,’ The Edge rips into a chucky guitar riff that screams ‘We’re back’. There’s a lot going on in the mix, and Bono is in top vocal form, while lyrically it’s superb. Bring on the album.
