Vantastival revving up for launch party

With the first batch of acts confirmed for Vantastival, the countdown is on to the May 1-3 knees-up.
To whet appetites, the official launch of the festival takes place this Friday at The Sweeney Mongrel in Dublin. Five acts on the bill will be appearing; disco peddlers Plutonic Dust, indie folk duo We Raise Bears, blues rockers Travis Oaks (pictured above), singer-songwriter Naoise Roo and bluegrass collective The Blood Red Mountain Band.
Best of all, the event is free; high-tail it down Dame Street at 9pm.
