UPDATED: Padraig Rushe plans single release
Bray man Padraig Rushe – formerly of the Dublin Gospel Choir – will release his debut single 'Gonna Be A Change' this month, with a launch gig planned for Crawdaddy next week.
Padraig Rushe left the Dublin Gospel Choir last year to pursue his solo career, and is now taking his first steps as an artist in his own right, with a single and album due out in the coming months.
His debut single, 'Gonna Be A Change', is out January 23 on Loud Child Records, and Rushe plays Crawdaddy that night along with his five-piece soul band, and backing singers from the Dublin Gospel Choir.
Padraig Rushe and his band also play spring dates in the run up to his album release on March 6.
See him at The Sugar Club, Dublin (originally planned for March 5, now March 7); The Roisin Dubh, Galway (21); Dolan’s (Upstairs), Limerick (April 25); The Pavilion, Cork (May 1).
