U2 ready new single
Already all over the Irish airwaves, U2's 'Magnificent' track will be the second single from their recent No.1 album.
'Magnificent', taken from the No Line On The Horizon LP, hits the shelves on May 1.
HP's Stuart Clark noted how the track recalls the likes of U2 classics 'New Year's Day' and 'Pride', while showing hits of Roy Orbison, the Killers and, er, Bach.
The single will be released in CD and 7" format, and will also be available for digital download from iTunes, priced 99c.
B-sides include 'Breathe' (Live from Sommerville Theatre, Boston) on the 7" and a live cut of 'Vertigo' and a Justice remix of first single 'Get On Your Boots' on the CD release.
The band bring their 360 tour to Dublin this July for three Croke Park dates, which needless to say are now totally sold out.
