Tupelo for Whelan's

It's been a busy 2013 for trad-inflected Dublin act Tupelo,with new videos , an EP launch in a fan's house and plenty of gigging.

Next year is set to be even bigger, with an album scheduled and now news of what is likely to be a very memorable show in their hometown.

You can catch Tupelo in Whelan's on February 23. Coinciding with the release of that new LP, it should be a fine launch night, with a full Irish tour to follow (stick with hp.com for further details).

But before all of that, they will be special guests at Sharon Shannon and Shane MacGowan's Vicar Street show on January 3, and then will be heading off to Denmark for a 12-date tour. Jam-packed, just the way they like it.
