Editors announce Dublin and Belfast shows
Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 1.
Editors have announced Dublin and Belfast shows, set to take place at Vicar Street on February 28, 2027 and Ulster Hall on March 1, 2027.
Starting in January, the English rock band will stop at a total of 29 venues across the UK and EU.
Alongside the news about the tour, the band released a new single, 'Call It In.' It's their first new music since 2022's album EBM. Recorded last summer during music sessions between Editors' live shows and the recording of frontman Tom Smith's solo LP There Is Nothing In The Dark That Isn’t There In The Light, the track was also accompanied by a video.
"We spent a lot of summer '25 holed up in rural Gloucestershire, working on songs with all of us in a room, in a more traditional band set up," said Smith.
"'Call It In' is one of the newest songs we worked on, it’s a song about asking for help, really, in the presence of an existential dread, finding solace and comfort in someone close, escaping the deafening noise of modern life," he added.
Editors, also known in their early years as Pilot, The Pride, and Snowfield, formed in Birmingham in 2002. They have released seven studio albums, including their 2005 debut, The Back Room, which received a Mercury Prize nomination, and its 2007 follow-up, An End Has a Start, which earned a Brit Award nomination.
Consisting of Smith, Russell Leetch, Ed Lay, Justin Lockey, and Elliott Williams, the group are also joined by their longtime touring member Nicholas Willes during live performances.
Tickets for their Dublin and Belfast shows will go on sale Friday, May 1 here.
