Sheryl Crow announces 12th studio album Pick You Up

Sheryl Crow has announced her 12th studio album Pick You Up, out October 9. Ahead of its release, she has dropped the first single 'Freedom Bus' featuring Jesse Welles today.

The seven track record was made by Crow and her long-time collaborator Jeff Trott. It will be her first musical project since 2023's Evolution, which she announced after she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November.

"I do not take freedom lightly because our freedom has been paid for in the lives of others throughout history and that is something I wish we could all remember when we are interacting with each other," she said of the song.

"Our dialogue and ability to disagree must reflect what has been paid for in the blood, sweat, and tears of those who fought for every man and woman to be created equal and to enjoy the rights that our constitution has allowed each of us."

The fusion rock singer has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and won nine Grammy Awards from 32 nominations. Her breakout song 'All I Wanna Do' is her biggest US hit, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994 and going on to win two Grammy's in 1995.
