Comic Con fever hits Dublin next month, and an exciting addition to the line-up means the tunes will be well and truly taken care of too.
The Triforce Quartet, hailing from Washington DC, will be hitting the Convention Centre along with some special guests to play the music from all your favourite titles. The foursome innocently put together a short Zelda medley for an encore of a recital in early 2007, but the success of a viral video set them on a thoroughly unique – and, we daresay, more interesting! – path.
Now, the team behind April's iDIG Music Festival are bringing the strong quartet back to the capital for a show on August 6. “This concert will celebrate video game music - it's a showcase of just how far it has come as a genre," said Tanya Lawless, iDIG’s Festival Producer.
