Trent Reznor and Karen O cover Led Zeppelin
Nine Inch Nails + Yeah Yeah Yeahs + Led Zep = awesome
Nine Inch Nails may be on hiatus, but Trent Reznor is as busy as ever. When not working with his new How To Destroy Angels project, the poster-boy for industrial music is off penning Oscar-winning soundtracks.
One especially notable standout from last year's The Social Network OST was Reznor's manic reworking of Edvarg Grieg's unmistakable 'In The Hall Of The Mountain King'. Back on soundtrack duties for David Fincher's forthcoming adaptation of Swedish novel/film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Reznor has once again weaved his magic, this time tackling Led Zeppelin's classic 'Immigrant Song' with none other than Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O on vocals.
The result is as distorted and crazy as you might expect, and you can listen to it in the leaked teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated film below.
