Tisch video winners announced

House Of Cosy Cushions (pictured), Laura Izibor, Evil Harrisons, Grand Pocket Orchestra, Adela Meally, Noise Control, Neosupervital, Fred, Le Bien, David Geraghty, Autumn Owls and The Mighty Stef are the acts who are to have free, professional standard music videos made for them as part of the ongoing Hot Press/Tisch School of the Arts at NYU initiative.

Each new intake of students from the American college spends a semester in Dublin where, since 2003, they’ve been producing clips for such heavy-hitters as Duke Special, The Frames, The Walls, Republic Of Loose, Royseven and The Blizzards.

Their highly impressive efforts – which can be viewed in widescreen at Hotpress.com – have received plays on RTÉ, TV3, Channel 6, MTV and Channel 4.

Shooting for the current batch of winners commences next month, with the latest batch of videos being premiered in early December.
