This Ain't No Disco Episode 3 released

The seminal alternative music show No Disco, which was helmed in the '90s by Donal Dineen, has been resurrected online.

Frustrated by the lack of TV opportunities for emerging Irish artists, former No Disco presenter Donal Dineen and Myles O’Reilly of Arbutus Yarns renown have launched This Ain’t No Disco, an online 45-minute alternative music show.

This episode sees Choice Prize-winning trio Rusangano Family and Kilkenny's RSAG perform to a backdrop of visuals directed by Donal Dineen.

Elsewhere in the episode, Lankum’s Radie Peat and Darragh Lynch take to a rooftop to perform a some traditional folk, before Peat and Cavan singer-songrwriter Lisa O’Neill discuss pioneering Irish traditional singer Margaret Barry and duet on Barry’s affecting classic Factory Girl.
