Find more information about the tickets below.
Rock band Then Jerico have announced their UK and EU tour The Return, stopping at Limelight 2, Belfast on February 19 and Whelan's Main Room, Dublin the day after.
The band will perform a 90-minute set featuring their most popular singles, including tracks from their first two albums First (The Sound of Music) and The Big Area (Outside).
Formed in 1983 by lead singer Mark Shaw, Then Jerico released their best known songs like 'Muscle Deep', 'What Does It Take?', and 'Sugar Box' in the first few years as a band. Their song 'Big Area' was used by RTÉ as theme music for its televised US golf programmes in the '90s.
The band broke up in 1990, with Shaw starting his solo career right after. He released Then Jerico's album Orgasmaphobia, with a new line-up made up of Andy Taylor (Duran Duran/Power Station) and Mick MacNeil (Simple Minds) in 1999.
In 2012-2013 Shaw performed three Then Jerico Acoustic shows at The Belnash Acoustic Festival in Belfast. In 2022, he played his first show in the Republic of Ireland at the ‘Forever Young Festival’ at Palmerstown House, Kildare. At the festival he was interviewed by Hot Press's Jess Murray.
When asked about performing in Ireland he explained: "I love it. The people are lovely. It's so beautiful. The atmosphere - people want to enjoy themselves here. The music is amazing. People smile and really give themselves to the moment".
