Hurray for the Riff Raff announce live album Live Forever

Hurray for the Riff Raff have announced a live album Live Forever, set for release digitally on March 20 and physically on CD & Double LP on May 8.

Recorded during two summer 2025 shows at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, Live Forever will feature live versions of their 2024 LP Past Is Still Alive, as well as songs like 'Pa’lante' and 'Precious Cargo'.

The announcement was accompanied by the news about their mini US tour, and a music video for the live version of 'Rhododendron'.

Hurray for the Riff Raff were founded in New Orleans in 2007 by singer Alynda Segarra. Originally, the group performed different styles of folk music, now leaning towards alternative and indie.

In 2008, Segarra self-released Hurray for the Riff Raff's first studio album, It Don't Mean I Don't Love You, followed by Young Blood Blues in 2010. They had their breakthrough a year later, when their song 'Daniella' featured in the HBO series Treme's selection of New Orleans' essential songs.
