The Would Be's for the Workman's Club
The beloved Irish indie band will support The Frank & Walters.
There’s a blast from the Irish rock ‘n’ roll past on March 31 when the original line-up of The Would Be’s reform to play support at the Dublin Workman’s Club to The Frank & Walters.
Formed in 1989 by the three Finnegan brothers, the band were quickly embraced by both John Peel and Morrissey who invited them to play on his Kill Uncle tour.
Despite notching up several UK indie hits, a major label deal proved to be elusive and they eventually went their separate ways, briefly reforming in 2000 with a new line-up and then going into hibernation again… until now!
