The Summer Season EP
Continuing on from last years reunion, and having bagged one of U2’s Croke Park slots, The Radiators continue to show that there’s still water left in the creative well.
Continuing on from last years reunion, and having bagged one of U2’s Croke Park slots, The Radiators continue to show that there’s still water left in the creative well. Pete Holidai’s ‘The Girl With The Gun’, a song for separated fathers, moves with a skagged-out LA feel, while Phil Chevron’s epic ‘Hinterland’ is the EP’s most rewarding track, a simple mellow tune with some lovely shoop-shoop vocals courtesy of Cait O’Riordan.
Elsewhere the EP is stretched out by fine, live-in-the-studio versions of 1977’s ‘Sunday World’ and the excellent ‘Electric Shares’.
