The Script Top Billboard Pop Chart

The Script, currently hard at work on their second album, can take time out to celebrate today after their single 'Breakeven' reached number 1 in the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart.

It also at number 19 in the Hot 100 and 7 in the pop song charts.

It's great news for the band who told Hot Press in January that even though their debut record was going down really well in the States, theywere really "psyched about making the new record".

News of their achievement comes just a day before the band are due to play in New York as part of the Today Show Summer Concert Series.
