Following the release of their brand new single 'Plastic Ocean', Irish rockers The Riptide Movement have announced a gig at Dublin's Vicar Street at the end of the year.
Their latest single sees the band attempting to spread the environmental message that our beaches, coastlines, rivers, cities and towns need to be kept litter and plastic free if society is to help prevent our oceans from becoming even more polluted by plastic waste.
The tour will see the band play a number of shows at coastal locations to help spread the message.
The band have been recording since 2009 and came to enjoy massive success after the release of their 2014 album Getting Through which went to number 1 on the Irish charts and featured their hit single 'All Works Out'.
The Riptide Movement will play Vicar Street on December 1st. Tickets cost €25 including booking fee and go on sale Thursday 5th July at 10am.
