DUG announce Dublin show
The Duo will play the Button Factory in December
DUG have announced a Dublin gig later this year. The duo will perform at the Button Factory on December 19.
They will be supported by American quartet Kitchen Dwellers.
“Get down early, you won’t wanna miss it!”, says the band on their social media.
The show is part of a wider tour beginning this summer and running through the rest of the year, including a run of festival shows.
DUG will play dates in Cork on September 18 & 19, two shows in Galway on September 24 & 25, and a Belfast date on September 26.
DUG are a Dublin-based folk duo made up of Lorkin O’Reilly and Jinny Pickett, formed in 2023. They released their debut album, DUG, Have At It!.
Hot Press reviewed DUG, Have At It! as: “the record pulls liberally from tradition, including Appalachian reels, Irish balladry and New Grass clippings, yet these songs put a fresh and wily spin on old sounds and ideas.[…] Quite simply, DUG have served up one of the finest albums of the year.”
Tickets are available Friday, June 19 at 10 am here.
