The Mary Wallopers announce their biggest Irish tour to date
The 7 Drunken Nights tour will run from December 14 to 29.
Dundalk outfit The Mary Wallopers have announced their 7 Drunken Nights Irish tour for Christmas 2024.
It will include four nights at Dublin’s Vicar Street, shows at Killarney Arena and Cork City Hall, before culminating in a huge show at Belfast’s The SSE Arena on Sunday 29 December.
The title of the tour is “both an instruction”, the band says, and a nod to the traditional song of the same name, made famous by The Dubliners in 1967, and which was banned in Ireland before reaching No. 1.

The announcement follows The Mary Wallopers’ Main Stage performances at All Together Now and Electric Picnic, with the latter described by Hot Press as a set “of nonstop trad bangers and raucous ragers that turned the Main Arena into a pub session for the ages.”
The band is also currently working on a follow-up to their 2023 record Irish Rock’n’Roll, which charted at No. 2 in Ireland in October of last year.
Tickets for the 7 Drunken Nights Irish tour, running from December 14 to 29, are on sale this Friday at 9:30am. For more information, click here.
