The Libertines play their first gig in four years
It didn't end in a fist fight and everyone seemed to remember how to play the songs...
The Libertines played their first gig in four years on Saturday night in Glasgow. By all accounts the band were in great form and stormed through a 24 song set (see the full setlist below).
This was effectively a warm-up gig for their performance next Saturday, July 5 in London's Hyde Park. The band members are reported to be earning in the region of €360,000 each for what will be their biggest ever London show.
The Libertines are also set for a string of European dates at the end of September/start of October but there's no word of an Irish date.
