The Libertines confirm release date for new album

They said it would never happen - genuinely, they themselves said as much - but we have a title, a tracklist and a release date for a third studio album from The Libertines

Ahead of their visit to 3Arena next week, the news that all sailing the good ship Albion never thought would arrive is finally here; September 4 will see the release of the first Libertines album in over 11 years.
Pete, Carl and co. have confirmed that Anthems For Doomed Youth, their third full-length effort, will be preceded by the release of single 'Gunga Din', which received an airing at Glasto over the weekend. The studio version will get a spin from Annie Mac tonight, with the video landing online at 8pm.
It's joined by eleven others on the standard release CD; deluxe editions and a box-set version contain a bunch of other goodies.
