There’s great news for Dublin’s cluberatti, with the famous club re-opening this month in the basement of Dublin’s Clarence Hotel
Between 1994 and 2002 when it sadly shut up shop, the original Kitchen was the place to shake yer’ booty in the capital with Bono memorably pulling pints there one night and Naomi Campbell – and burly security detail – among those taking to the dancefloor.
Having undergone a major facelift, The Kitchen will from Wednesday to Sunday be offering the very best in house, electro, hip hop, dubstep, boogie and chart.
Nights will include:
Thursday
Take Back Thursdays with Two Many Cooks man Lorcan Mak and guests including David De Valera, Colin Perkins, Niall Dunne & Two Charming Men.
Friday
DubWar, a drum ‘n bass ‘n dubstep session featuring the likes of Hostage, Slum Dogz, Jazzstepa, Funk Case, Serial Killaz, Chasing Shadows, Document One and Flux Pavilion.

Saturday
Parliament, the funkier flavours of disco and electronica ranging from Chic to LCD Soundsystem.
Sunday
The Kitchen’s Sauce, deep and sexy funk and disco house with returning Kitchen resident Richie Rock.
Welcome back!
