The Henry Girls Join Clannad Tour

The Henry Girls have been added to the bill as Clannad hit the road for shows in UCH, Limerick (October 29); Opera House, Cork (30); Waterfront Hall, Belfast (31); Royal Theatre, Castlebar (November 1) and Olympia, Dublin (2).

“Blending Irish and American roots styles with the retro sounds of close harmony groups of the ‘40s & ‘50s, The Henry Girls have forged a sound of their own,” was our man Colm O’Hare’s verdict when he caught up with Joleen, Lorna and Karen recently.

Hailing from Malin in Donegal, the trio have been garnering rave reviews on the other side of the Atlantic too and in Louder Than Worlds have conjured up one of 2014’s most enchanting albums.
