The Flaming Lips announce Sgt. Pepper's Tribute Album

Current Hot Press cover stars and upcoming Forbidden Fruit headliners have announced October 28 as the official release date of project. This isn't the groups first attempt to reimagine the classics, with 2009's The Flaming Lips and Stardeath And White Dwarfs With Henry Rollins And Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the Moon putting Pink Floyd's album in a whole new perspective.

Pre-orders will begin being offered through iTunes on May 18, coming with the an instant download of their Miley Cyrus duet. The song was teased last night at a performance in Manchester, with video below.
