The Eagles are calling it a day, Don Henley confirms
The Eagles’ tribute to founding member Glenn Frey at the Grammys was their “final farewell”
Following the death of co-founder Glenn Frey last January, bandmate Don Henley has publicly confirmed that it’s the end of the road for the American rock band.
Henley dropped the bombshell in an interview with the BBC when talking about the tribute he and his fellow band members paid to Frey at the Grammy Awards.
“That was the final farewell. I don’t think you’ll see us performing again. I think that was probably it. I think it was an appropriate farewell.”
Henley, along with Eagle Joe Walsh and Jackson Browne, performed Frey’s iconic song ‘Take It Easy’ in honour of Frey who died on January 18 at the age of 67.
