TG4 announces broadcast schedule for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025
The broadcast weekend will feature acts such as Kabin Krew, Seán Keane, and Iarla Ó Lionáird
TG4 has announced the details of its live broadcast coverage for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025, which will take place in Wexford from Thursday, August 7 to Sunday, August 10.
Coverage will air from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm across the four nights.
The broadcasts will be hosted from the TG4 Fleadh Village in Wexford by presenters Peadar Ó Goill, Doireann Ní Ghlacáin and Aoife Ní Thuairisg.
The weekend will include performances from 92 acts across four stages, with a lineup of artists from Ireland and across the globe.
Thursday will feature artists such as Seán Keane, Kíla le Prás, Paddy Keenan and Dermot Byrne.
Friday will have Iarla Ó Lionáird, The Rising, Kabin Crew, Beartla Ó Flatharta Céilí Band, Megan Nic Fhionnghaile & Marty Barry and Cry Before Dawn.
Saturday will see Maighread & Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill, JigJam, Rum Ragged, Alannah Thornburgh, Gearóid McCarthy and Damien Mullane Band.
Sunday’s finale will feature Altan, Máirtín O’Connor Band, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh & Mick O’Brien, The Rowsome Quartet and Cailíní Lua.
Live competitions will also be streamed on TG4.ie, with the Senior Céilí Band competition on Sunday.
Proinsias Ní Ghráinne, Commissioning Editor at TG4, said the collaboration with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann aims to bring the festival experience to as wide an audience as possible.

According to Labhrás Ó Murchú, Ardstiúrthóir of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the broadcasts play a key role in the visibility and longevity of Irish culture.
“Through the dynamic and engaging programming, our partnership is not only making our cultural traditions accessible to all but ensuring they remain a vibrant and visible part of our society,” he said.
