TBMC to be renamed 'The Button Factory'
The venue formerly known as the Temple Bar Music Centre has a new name: The Button Factory.
It refers to the building's original function. Plans to call the venue 'Cargo' had to be abandoned after the owners received a notification from a London venue of the same name.
The new venue is set to open at the end of the month, following a major refurbishment by The Design Farm, including a new PA system and an increase in capacity to 750.

Acts scheduled to play in the first few weeks include LCD Soundsystem, Stars, The Misfits, Pigeon Detectives, Amiina and 65daysofstatic.
