Makeshift Art Bar, KNEECAP and KETTAMA win at UK Music Video Awards 2026

The winners of the 2026 UK Music Video Awards have been revealed – with videos by Makeshift Art Bar, KNEECAP and KETTAMA all winning their respective categories.

Launched in 2008, the UK Music Video Awards aims to celebrate "the best work in music videos and music visuals made in the past 12 months – from big-budget video productions, to visual gems by fresh filmmaking talent."

Belfast band Makeshift Art Bar scored a major win in the Best Rock Video (UK) category with the video for their single 'Discpline'. Directed by Colin Peppard, and made on a budget of just £2,000, the video was up against the likes of The Rolling Stones, Wolf Alice, Charli xcx, Beabadoobee, and The Last Dinner Party.

KNEECAP secured two wins on the night – with 'Irish Goodbye' (dir. Thomas James) winning Best Alternative Video (International), and 'Sayōnara' (edited by Finn Keenan and Ed Fay) winning Best Editing in a Video.

Elsewhere in the Craft & Technical categories, editor Craig Griffiths was recognised for his work on the video for Galway DJ KETTAMA's 'Man With A Second Face', with Best Editing in a Video (Newcomer).
