Swell Season announce new album and Irish tour

Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova will play five dates across the country before embarking on a world tour, which will take them around America, Europe and Asia.

The as-yet untitled new album will feature 11 brand new tracks and is planned for release on September 25.

The Irish tour will see the duo play the following dates: Millennium Forum, Derry (August 18); Opera House, Wexford (21); Everyman Palace Theatre, Cork (23); Glor Theatre, Ennis (24); National Concert Hall, Dublin (26).

Tickets cost €30 and go on sale today.
