Rachel Chinouriri announces headline show at Dublin's Academy

Rachel Chinouriri has announced a headline show at the Academy in Dublin on September 5, 2026.

She is set to play in Los Angeles, New York, London, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Sydney and Melbourne. The opener for the night is yet to be announced.

The announcement comes ahead of her new album I think I spoke too soon, out October 16 via Parlophone/Atlas Artists.

The album's lead single, 'One song away from crying', was released on July 29. The track's accompanying video is directed by Dora Paphides and sees Chinouriri escaping a party she doesn't want to be at.

"'One song away from crying' is about the precipice of a night out where you know you need to leave and have to make a decision," Chinouriri shares.

"It’s a deeper decision because it’s less about the night itself but more about a reflection of a deeper internal conflict with your self value that you haven’t looked at yet.”

The upcoming record follows her 2024 debut album What A Devastating Turn of Events, which produced the hits ' All I Ever Asked' and 'So My Darling - Acoustic'.

The artist will perform at Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields Festival next month and has also been given the support slot for Gracie Abrams' North American arena tour.
