‘Subside’ is taken from the Pets’ miraculously beautiful Nobody’s Working Title album. This release utterly spoils you by also including ‘Stigmata Errata’ a track which, like ‘Subside’, is destined to become one of the immortal tunes of the century. No exaggeration. In the classic punk pop tradition, the playing is sublime and Clafferty’s singing is rapturous. No praise is too high, really. Most bands only dream of making music like this. Unbelievably great.
