Steven Tyler To Release Solo Country Album
The Aerosmith frontman is taking a different angle for his new record.
Steven Tyler is set to release a new record - a country music album. We're All Somebody From Somewhere will be released on July 15. The record will feature previously released singles, 'Red, White and You' and 'Love Is Your Name'.
The title track of the 13 song album will be released on June 24. Appearing on US talk show Ellen Tyler said, ""Country music is the new rock ‘n’ roll. It’s not just about porches, dogs and kicking your boots up. It’s a whole lot more. It’s about being real".
Tyler recently opened up about about the future of Aerosmith itself. He told Rolling Stone magazine in April that he would be going out on tour with Aerosmith in 2017 after his current run of solo shows. He went on to add, "we're probably doing a farewell tour. Look, there's two bands that still have the original members, us and the Stones. I'm grateful for that. Whether we do a farewell tour or go into the studio and do another record, I'm just excited about it".
