Lana Del Rey reveals new album name and release date
Find details on the new album below.
Lana Del Rey has revealed her long-anticipated country album will be named Stove and will likely release in January, 2026.
The album was first announced in January, 2024. It was originally titled Lasso, and was set to come out September, 2024. The name was later changed to The Right Person Will Stay with an updated release date for May, 2025.
The pop artist reportedly added six new songs to the record, causing the release date to be pushed back.
“They were more autobiographical than I thought, and that took more time,” said Del Rey in an interview with W.
“The majority of the album will have a country flair. Eight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country. Now everyone is going country!"
Additionally, the singer said that she wrote 'Stars Fell on Alabama', set to be featured on Stove, about her husband Jeremy Dufrene. She sang the track at the Stagecoach festival in California last April.
The same month, the artist released two singles 'Henry, Come On' and 'Bluebird'. Both tunes were expected to be featured on the country album, however, neither was mentioned in her interview with W.
Stove will be Del Rey's first album since her 2023 record Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.
In June, the artist performed at Aviva Stadium. Read the full review here.
