‘60s survivor Steve Winwood swings by the Dublin Olympia on October 25. Tickets are €39.20 and go on sale on Wednesday July 28. You can also catch him on October 23 in the Everyman Palace Theatre as part of this year’s Cork Jazz Festival.
Currently running around the States with Carlos Santana, he’ll be mixing old faves like ‘While You See A Chance’, ‘Valerie’, 'Higher Love', ‘Still In The Game’ and ‘Back In The High Life’ with material from his latest solo album, Nine Lives.
Before striking out on his own, the 62-year-old played with the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic and Blind Faith whose back catalogues he still plunders.
