Splitscreen come close in Pringles comp
Northern Irish quartet Splitscreen didn't quite manage to blow the judges in London away for Pringles' Unsung competition.
Andrew Kerr, the band's lead singer, said: "There were a high proportion of entries from Ireland both north and south so to be the only Irish band chosen to be finalists in this big nationwide competition is fantastic achievement for us. We know how difficult it can be to break into the music industry especially here in Ireland so to get the opportunity to go over to London and play in a private gig to music industry experts is one we have relished.
"It has worked out great for us as we have just finished recording our album 'The Voice That Will Be Heard' and it was a brilliant opportunity to get it to some key people in the music industry as a result of this competition!"
