Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid engaged to Courtney Cox

This will be McDaid's first leap into marriage, while the 50 year old Cox was previously married to actor David Arquette, with whom she has a daughter. The pair, who were allegedly introduced by Ed Sheeran, confirmed their engagement with seperate tweets with the phrase "I'm engaged to him!" and "I'm engaged to her!". It was simply adorable.

The duo have also collaborated on Cox's film Just Before I Go, with McDaid contributing thee original songs. Hot Press waits in eager anticipation for what could be an Irish wedding and, hopefully, an invitation.
