Simple Minds for Dublin
Don't you (forget to see the band in March).
Scottish rockers Simple Minds aim to prove they are still alive and kicking with a European tour next year that starts off at The Olympia Theatre on March 4. They'll be playing a special setlist that pulls five songs each from their first five albums — Life In A Day, Real To Real Cacophony, Empires and Dance, Sons and Fascination/Sister Feelings Calling, and New Gold Dream (81,82,83,84).
The stadium rock band will be touring in conjunction with the release of a box set Simple Mind X5 , which features the first five albums as well as bonus material, b-sides, and remixes.
Tickets from €44.05 go on sale Friday at [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link].
Listen to Simple Minds perform their 1989 number one hit 'Belfast Child' below.
