Kings Of Leon aren't the only ones playing Slane this year!
We’re liking the sound of Sibín, an underground festival taking place in new Slane venue the Millhouse on April 30 from 3pm till late.
An eclectic mix of hip hop, dubstep, reggae, techno, drum ‘n’ bass, funk, electro, house and indie its confirmed acts include The Infomatics, New Secret Weapon, The Whipround, Loefah, Total Science, The Hot Sprockets, Reeko, Giles Armstrong and Worries Outernational.
To get you in the mood, they’ve also announced a series of Dublin warm-ups which break down thusly:
Friday February 25 – Techno, house and electro session with Joe McGrath, Jeff Walters and The Podium residents in The Basement @ Clarendon House. €7. You need to pre-register at [email] [email protected][/email] for this one.
Wednesday March 16 – Drum ‘n’ bass with General Levy and Marcus Intalex in the Twisted Pepper.
April 1 – Sibín Fancy Foolsday with Barley Mob, Dem Fools, Rob Walsh and Gypsy Rebel Rabble.
