Shaun Ryder for The Village

An early Christmas present for those of you still shaking those maracas you got in the earl y'90s - Shaun Ryder is set to play The Vilalge, Dublin, on Saturday December 10.

The man who put the 'Mad' in Madchester will be performing a career-spanning set, taking in hits from his time with Black Grape and, of course, the Happy Mondays. Whether he'll bring his mate Bez along to perform dancing duties is not yet known.

Early bird tickets are now available for €25 from the WAV Box Office and online here, with regular prices set to cost €30.
