Sharon Corr among artists set for Wilde event

Sharon Corr, Cathy Davey and Colin Devlin are to perform at the seventh annual Oscar Wilde: Honoring The Irish In Film event, which takes place on February 23 in J.J. Abrams’ Santa Monica production company, Bad Robot.

The US-Ireland Alliance bash will honour Academy Award nominees John Logan, Melissa McCarthy and Michelle Williams. Kenneth Branagh will be a presenter.

“Sharon, Cathy and Colin are three very talented artists,” says organiser Trina Vargo. “I know the guests will greatly enjoy them and I hope this event will expose them to many people who aren’t already familiar with them.”
