Scott Walker and Sunn O))) to release joint album

Scott Walker and Sunn O))) have officially announced their long-rumoured collaborative album, Soused. The idea of Soused has been floating around since 2009, Sunn O))) and Walker collaborated on Sunn O)))'s Monoliths & Demons.

Soused is described by its press release as "a 5-track, 50-minute collaborative record that cements the status of both act’s wide-reaching and otherworldly renown."

The 71-year-old Walker has seen his career evolve from a '60s pop star to a master of the avant-garde, while Seattle, Washington based Sunn O))) are staples of the drone metal scene.
